My wife and I ate at Chavolitos in Dolores yesterday, first timers. We are very fussy gourmet eaters! We were extremely happy with our meals. The quality and portions were amazing, and the food was wonderfully authentic Mexican. The service was outstanding and the restaurant was super clean and beautifully designed and maintained. This is a 5 star rare gem of a Mexican restaurant! We will be back....many times. Thank you. What a great time we had. I cleaned my plate, rare for me, and I savored every bite. Just had the most wonderful Mother's Day dinner at Chavolito's. Service was wonderful as usual, margarita's are made at the bar by hand with fresh fruit. Topped off my dinner and drinks with fried ice cream for dessert...couldn't ask for more. Wonderful experience each time we've come to Chavolito's. Service is wonderful, food is always good and so fresh. So worth the few extra minutes to get there. Love this place!

Good food, friendly service and super portions. The fajitas and ceviche are excellent. It's not fancy, but certainly the best Mexican food in the area.
Great food and service. They have a salsa bar with everything from mild to Caliente along with condiments to jazz your salsa. No extra charge for chips and salsa like the joint on the other end of town. I had the #29 and loved it.
Great mexicsn restsurant. First off you are greeted by very friendly people and service is immediate. The food was great and at very reasonable prices. The margaritas are yummy!! If we lived here, we would eat here at leadt oonce a week. Great stop for us.
